- Miles was on the ventilator overnight and came off at about 10 Tuesday morning.
- He had a relatively quiet day, sleeping most of it. He had a dose of meds early in the morning that kept him groggy.
- He brightened up late in the afternoon and into the evening. He was responsive to conversation and we even got a little chuckle, which was very nice to see. Would a chuckle through a trach be a truckle?
- Vital signs remain good.
- We are sharing greetings with Miles as they come in.
Thank you for your love and support. Your prayers and warm wishes are a great comfort.
Please continue to pray for Miles' complete recovery and for our ability to communicate with him.
We love you and we're thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteTell him I used one of his one-liners the other day on the guys I play indoor-soccer with (I remember he used it playing basketball in your driveway when I was about 14). He said "What don't have in speed I more than make up for in sloppy play."
Tell miles and noodie that we are praying for them both and love them very much. Jake made a picture of miles his wallpaper on his phone and they are doing a heart charity event in honor of him. we talk about you guys daily and laugh and crave noodie's cooking. we plan on stopping by the pittsburgh area tomorrow (friday) to see you guys if the weather holds out. call us anytime if you need anything.

Hello Runners. We are praying for you. Tell Miles I thought of him the other day. Marcello and I went to dinner. He sat down (before me and without pulling out my chair)which reminded me of a time when Miles gave him a lesson in manners. I think he needs a refresher course. Get well Miles.
