March 2, 2010 - Resting Comfortably

Tuesday the 2nd got off to a slow start. Dad's oxygen saturation dropped when he was taken off the ventilator, so he went back on right away for an assist. After about 4-5 hours, he was off the vent and breathing well.
  • His vital signs held up well through the day.
  • Friends Bob and John visited from Bridgeport and step-brother Terry visited from Charleston. Their visits were very much appreciated by Dad and brightened his day.
  • Otherwise, Dad was comfortable and free of pain from yesterday's surgery.
Thank you for you prayers and warm wishes. Please pray for Dad to be free of any infection in his left foot and for his overall recovery. Also, please lift up Dad and Mom for strength and peace throughout this ordeal.

    miles-me-man----i know you'll be getting reports that mrs. runner has been seen around town with a distinquished gentleman that resembles me-----reserch will show it was only her chauffeur!!!!---you owe me a beer--connected my printer to my computer and it worked the first time!!!!hosp.guru told me to put disc in and follow the simple instructions while looking at me with one of those dummy looks!!!(don't you dare woody)!!!--keep working hard my friend--we're down to very small flakes--smiles and a hand squeeze--d
