- He was off the ventilator 16+ hours each day.
- Vital signs, labs and other indicators all continue to be positive.
- The vascular team continues to closely monitor Dad's left foot. Please pray specifically for Dad's foot to remain free of infection.
- With everything being reasonably quiet, we're just waiting on a bed to open up "across the hall" at Select Specialty Hospital. "Across the hall" is the euphemism used by the UPMC staff since the buildings are connected by enclosed walkways, but it's actually over a block away.
- On Saturday, friends Gladys and Steve visited from West Virginia. They were impressed by Dad's progress since they visited him in Morgantown. As I've noted before, this kind of feedback is an encouragement to us, since it is not always easy to discern the small steps.
- Also on Saturday, friends Bob and Helen made the trip from Ohio to visit. Dad's right, Bob is very funny.
- Thanks to all.
Please continue to lift Dad up in your prayers for his complete healing. Also, continue to lift up Dad and Mom up in prayer for strength and peace throughout this ordeal.

Finally we got on the blogspot with the aide of Judith Ann! Every good wish for a successful recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family daily.
