- Visit from cousins Sam, Sue and Joe brightened his day.
- For the most part, though, Dad's still not saying much to Mom or me.
- He needs a win.
- Other than getting Dad settled into the new digs, little happened for the rest of the day.

miles-me-man---glad you have moved a step closer to home my friend--went up to see the farmer yesterday after lunch only to find he was "out and about"--checked on bob baird(4 more weeks of very limited act.)his dr.;in describing why and what he did in back surgery used the words your"pretty young"--bob is researching the med. meaning of these words--went to farm and could see lots of calfs but no ed---left note that i was sorry to miss him and assumed he was in indianapolis and to restock his gum drop/semi hard candy supply--spotted no pick-up with a broom sticking up on the way back home---he called around 8:00 to tell me where more candy was in the barn--7 more calfs to del. and he wasn't doing any heavy lifting--you know what i told him!!!!---positive thoughts and hand squeezes my friend--d
